Purpose
Maintaining frequent renter records will speed up the rental and reservation process. You will be able to select the customer record from your frequent renter database and the customer’s information will automatically be added to the rental or reservation record for you.
Fields – General Tab
Renter ID – System-assigned frequent renter identification number.
VIP # – Secondary frequent renter identification number, usually assigned by a corporate location.
Inactive - Check this if you do not want this customer record to appear in any look-up browser of active customers.
Last Name – Last name of customer.
First Name – First name of customer.
Address – Address where the customer resides.
City – City where the customer resides.
St – State or province in which the customer resides.
Zip – Customer’s Zip Code or Postal code. If in the USA, this field uses the Smart Zip Lookup.
Country - Country in which the customer resides. Use the pull-down menu to select from the Country table.
Home Phone – Home telephone number of the customer.
Mobile Phone – Mobile telephone number of the customer.
E-Mail – Customer’s e-mail address.
DOB - Customer's Date of Birth.
DL Number – Driver license number of the customer.
St – State or Province that issued driver license.
Exp - Expiration date of the driver license.
Passport – Passport number.
Visa Exp – Visa expiration date.
Gender - Gender of the customer.
FF Carrier – If the customer has a Frequent Flyer account, use the pull-down menu to select the issuing airline.
Account# – Frequent Flyer account number.
Taxable – If the customer is tax exempt, uncheck this box.
Tax ID# – Customer’s tax ID number.
Bad Renter – When this box is checked, the customer is prohibited from renting vehicles unless you have the Employee Privilege to override. This customer will appear in red in browsers, and adding this customer to a reservation or contract will bring up a warning box.
Comments – When this customer is added to a reservation or contract, any comment in this field will be displayed.
DMS Group/ID - Used for the Dealership Management Interface.

Employer Info
Company - The Company associated with this renter. Use the Lookup binoculars to select a companyLocal record.
Corporate ID – The Corporate Customer associated with this renter. Use the Lookup binoculars to select a corporate customer record.
Employer – Employer of the customer. If a Company was selected above, this field will be filled in automatically with the same company name.
Address – Street address of employer.
City – City in which employer is located.
State – State or province in which employer is located.
Zip – Employer’s zip or postal code. If in the USA, this field uses the Smart Zip Lookup.
Position – Renter’s position at the employer’s company.
Phone – Employer’s phone number.
Ext – Renter’s extension.
Fax – Employer’s fax number.
Local Contact – Contact information during the rental period.
Phone – Local contact phone number.
Insurance Co. – Renter’s insurance company.
Policy# – Renter’s policy number.
Exp - Expiration date of the insurance policy.
Agent – Insurance company agent.
Phone – Insurance company agent’s phone number.

Note: These fields are automatically updated when opening and closing contracts for the renter.
Last Rental – The last date on which the renter had rented a vehicle.
# of Rentals – The total number of rentals for this renter.
Rate Code – The rate code that was on the renter’s last contract.
Source/Referral
Source – The source code that was on the renter’s last contract.
Referral/Agent – The referral code and Agent ID that was on the renter’s last contract.
Preferred Coverages
If these coverage types are checked off, they will be automatically added to the contract when you apply customer preferences.
Vehicle
Product – The product code of the last vehicle the renter had rented.
Prepaid Fuel – The amount of prepaid fuel purchased on renter’s last contract.
Preferred Class – The class of the last vehicle the renter had rented.
Smoking – Indicates if the customer prefers to rent a vehicle that allows smoking.
Message Services
If the rental gave permission to be sent text messages, this box should be checked.
