Reasons for Rental/Discount

SETTINGS > Contracts/Reservations

Purpose

While in the Sale Information screen during reservation or contract processing, you have the ability to add reasons for rental and discounts. Create reasons for rental and discounts if you wish to track them.

If you are a vehicle rental company, reasons for rental may include: Corporate, Vacation, Accident.

If you are a car dealership, reasons for rental may include: Warranty, Service, Test Drive, Recall.

Fields

Type – Select either "Rental" or "Discount".

Code – The code entered in this field will be shown in the appropriate drop down box within the RentWorks Sale Information screen.

Description – This field allows you to display a more descriptive title for the Rental/Discount Reason.
