Positions

Purpose

Use this menu item to create, modify and delete position names and options. The use of different positions gives you the ability to utilize separate names for different terminals where rental transactions will take place. This is particularly useful in locations that have several different computers located at the same rental counter.

Fields

LocationLocation_Setup – Select the location from the drop-down list where this position is located.

CounterCounters – Select the appropriate counter for this position. Only the counters for the selected location will be in this list.

Position - Enter the name of the position.

Cash Drawer – If this position is assigned to a cash drawerCash_Drawer, the cash drawer will be shown here. Otherwise, it will say "None".
