Key Store

Purpose

The Key Store is part of the key used to encrypt sensitive credit card data. A new record needs to be created once a year. If not done automatically, go to the screen and click on NEW. A new record with an update expiration data will appear. Click on SAVE.

Fields

GUID - The ID of the encryption key.

Date Added - The date and time which this key record was added.

Expiration Date - The date on which this key expires. A warning message will be displayed within seven days of the expiration date.

Last Updated - The date on which this key was last updated.

Updated By - The system task, utility, or employee which updated the key record.
