Purpose

The Highway Toll Administration (HTA) processes EZ Pass violations. The HTA interface is basically is a one-way transfer of data from the RentWorks system to HTA. Two zip files are sent:

 HTAyyyyddmmSTAT.zip contains vehicle transactions which took place the previous day, and

 HTAyyyyddmmCUST.zip contains the associated renter data.

(yyyy is a four digit year, dd is the two digit day and mm is the two digit month)

These files are generated via a System Task in the directory specified on this screen. The zip file is encrypted with 256 bit encryption and password protected as well. The password is based upon the date within the file name and NOT the date the file was created.

Please note that this is an add-on module, and you must enter into a contractual agreement directly with the HTA before this module can be implemented.

Fields

Zip File Output Directory - Location of the zip files once they are created.

Current Run-Through Date - The last date when the zip files were created.

Default Product - Use the pull-down menu to select the default Product code to be used.
