Purpose[edit]
The Equipment Types screen lets you to add types of equipment such as GPS units, moving blankets, etc.
Fields
Equipment Type – A code for the type of equipment.
Description – A description of the type of equipment.
Maintain a counter – If this box is checked, a count is kept of the number of items. This is useful for items like moving blankets or boxes.
Time Charge – The miscellaneous charge to apply for rental time. This drop-down list contains charges of the type "Equipment Charge".
Counter Charge – The miscellaneous charge to apply per item. This drop-down list contains charges of the type "Equipment Charge".
Lost Charge – The miscellaneous charge to apply to lost equipment. This drop-down list contains charges of the type "Equipment Charge".
Amount – The amount to charge for lost equipment.
Return Status – When the equipment is returned it is set to this status. This drop-down list is filled with the Vehicle StatusFleet_Status_Definitions values.
Lost Status – When the equipment is lost it is set to this status. This drop-down list is filled with the Vehicle StatusFleet_Status_Definitions values.
