Customer/Local Company Report

Purpose

The Customer/Local Company Report provides a listing of revenue for generated by either renter customers or local companies. Use this report to monitor rental activity of individuals or local companies.

Options

Select By – The report can select records by customer, company or customers by company type. This selection modifies some of the available options below.

Sales Rep – Choose the sales representatives you wish to include in the report. This option is only available if you choose "Companies" in the Select By option above.

Local Company Type - Choose the local companies you wish to include in the report. This option is only available if you choose "Customers by company type" in the Select By option above.

Last rental occurred on or after – The starting date for the customers’ last rental. This option is only available if you choose "Customers" in the Select By option above.

Last rental occurred on or before – The ending date for the customers’ last rental. This option is only available if you choose "Customers" in the Select By option above.

List contracts closed on or after – The starting date for the contracts you wish to print on the report.

List contracts closed on or before – The ending date for the contracts you wish to print on the report.

Minimum of n rentals in contract date range – If the number of contracts in the "List Contracts…" range is less than this value, the customer is ignored.

Sort – The report can be sorted by company or by sales representative. This option is only available if you choose "Companies" in the Select By option above.

Data Selection

If "Customers" is chosen in the Select By option, renters are selected by the following rules:

• The renter’s last name is within the report’s name range.
• The renter’s last rental date is within the report’s date range.

The renter’s contracts are then selected by the following rules:

• The contract is closed.
• The contract’s report date is within the report’s date range.
• The contract’s renting location is selected in the reporting lists.
• The contract’s product is selected in the Product list.

If "Companies" is chosen in the Select By option, contracts are selected by the following rules:

• The contract is closed.
• The contract’s report date is within the report’s date range.
• The contract’s report location is selected in the reporting lists.
• The contract’s company is within the report’s company range.
• The contract’s product is selected in the Product list.
