ADMIN > Locations > Rental Counters

Purpose

Use this menu item to create, modify and delete rental counter names and options. The use of different counters gives you the ability to utilize separate names for different counters where rental transactions will take place. This is particularly useful in airport locations that have several different rental counters in different locations throughout the airport.

Fields

Counter – Enter a name for this counter.

Description – You can enter a description for this counter if you wish.

Location – Highlight the location where this counter is located. If you have a counter which serves multiple brands (and you have created separate location records for each), hold down the Control Key to select them.

Default Location - Use the drop-down menu to select the default location.

Use Cash Drawer - Select this check box if you will be using a cash drawer at this counter.

Login Time-out – This filed is no longer used.
