Cash Drawer

Purpose

Use this menu item to create, modify or delete cash drawers. The cash drawer function is primarily used to monitor all payment transactions within RentWorks. For more information on setting up cash drawers, see Cash Drawer Setup.

Fields

Drawer Name – A name to identify the cash drawer.

Location – Using the drop-down list, select the appropriate location for this cash drawer.

Counter – Using the drop-down list, select the appropriate counter where this cash drawer will be used.

Positions – All positions associated with the counter that will use this cash drawer should be highlighted in this list box.
