Location

REPORTS > Franchise Reports


Purpose

Designed for Budget Rent a Car licensees, the Travel Agent Report calculates commission for travel agents from reservations and contracts.

Each location must have their 4-digit TARP number in the Location record's Notes field. The text "Tarp#:" should be added, followed by the TARP number (with no space after the colon). Alternatively, you can assign the TARP number from the Report Screen by clicking on the TARP Settings button:

Options

Posting – Choose "Proof Run" to verify the report data before postingPosting. Then choose "Update Contracts and Reservations" to update the contracts’ commission post dates.


Data Selection

The contracts are selected by:

  • The contract’s date out is within the report’s date range.
  • The contract’s location out is selected in the reporting list boxes.
  • The reservation status is selected in the list box.
  • The referral code is in the range of 00000001 and 99999999.
  • The commission post date is blank.
  • When the report is exported, open contracts will be skipped.
  • The reservation was entered via the Budget Reservation Link. Therefore, any reservations made locally will NOT be included on the report (rpttarp.p (12).


Posting

When this report is posted, it updates the commission post dates on reservations and contracts. It does not create a posting file.
