Purpose
The Cash Drawer Report shows all contract payment and deposit records, as well as all non-contract cash drawer transactions for the dates selected.
If a transaction has a creation date that differs from the report dateReport_Date, the description field will show a warning, along with the creation date. If a payment has a creation date inside the date range of the report, but the payment’s report date is not within the range, the payment will be listed by its report date on another page.
When a cash drawer is balanced out or closed, this report is run in the background.
Options
- Report By – The report can show transactions for either a specific cash drawer or for a specific location.
- Print As – Choose "Detailed" to show each cash drawer transaction or "Summary" to show a table of totals for each transaction and payment type.
- Sort By – Records can be sorted by time of day or by the employee who entered the transaction.
Data Selection
The transactions are selected by:
- Cash Drawer ID.
- The report date in the report’s date range.
- The transaction date in the report’s date range. The transaction date is assigned by the system and cannot be changed. It is used to find discrepancies with the report date.
Transactions with an amount of zero will be ignored.
