Claims Management General Tab
Purpose
Use this menu item to create, modify and delete vehicle claims tickets. Claims tickets allow you to track vehicle damage and to document the claim.
Fields
Claim# - A system-assigned number for this claim. The number range is set up in Transaction NumbersTransaction_Numbers.
Type – The kind of claim.
Status – The current status of the claim, either open, closed, pending, damage not recoverable, or legal.
RA# - The contract number that the vehicle was on when the damage occurred.
Renting Loc – The location that the vehicle was rented from.
Rental Check Out – The date that the vehicle was rented.
Rental Check In – The date that the vehicle returned.
LDW Accepted? – If the renter accepted the Loss Damage Waiver, check this box.
Police Dept – The police department that handled the accident.
Police Rpt# - The police report number.
Loss Date/Time – The date and time of the accident.
Claim Close Date – The date that this claim was settled.
Location of Accident – Where the accident took place.
Nearest City/State/Zip/Country – The city information where the accident took place.
Renter
This section displays information about the renter on the contract, including name, address, and insurance information.
Rental Vehicle
This section displays information about the damaged vehicle including product/unit number, year, make, model, etc.
Managed By – The ID of the employee who is managing this claim.
Entered By – The ID of the employee who first entered the claim.
