TIME CLOCK
Purpose
The Time Clock Report displays the total number of hours by employee based on the selection criteria you use. It is also used to post transactions so that they cannot be changed.
Options
Print Notes – If this option is checked, any notes that have been entered will be printed with each transaction.
Post – If this option is checked, the transactions will be marked as posted and cannot be changed afterwards.
Employee – You can select specific employees’ transactions to show on the report.
Transaction – You can select specific types of transactions to show on the report.
Buttons
Refresh – After you have entered values for selecting records, click on this button to update the browser.
Whenever you refresh the browser, the records that are found are automatically selected for printing. Click on a record to deselect it if you do not want an invoice printed for it. Click on it again to reselect the record.
Data Selection
The transactions are selected by the following rules:
∙The transaction’s date and time are in the report’s date/time range.
∙The employee is selected in the Employee list.
∙The transaction’s type is selected in the Transaction list.
Posting
When posting, each transaction is given a post date to mark it as posted. A comma-delimited file is created which can then be imported into other applications.
