Purpose

Special Events are used to modify the standard daily activity for a rental location. A special event is set up for a date range or for certain days of the week, and it can alter the utilization or the operating hours of a location.

Fields

Code – A code for this special event.

Description – A description of the event.

Web - Check this box if you want the event to be evaluated for erez reservations.

Location – The location to which this event applies. A <blank> location implies ALL locations.

Product – The product to which this event applies.

Class – The class to which this event applies. A <blank> class implies ALL Classes.

Event Type – If "Date Range" is selected, enter the date range in the Start/End Date fields. If "Weekly" is selected, choose the appropriate days of the week for this event.

Start/End Date – The date range for this event.

Blackout – To prevent reservations from being taken during the event, check this box.

Open From/Close At – To change the operating hours during this event, enter the new hours in these fields.

Day of Week – Choose the days of the week that this event applies to.

Utilization – To change the utilization during this event, enter the new utilization in this field.
