Reservation Source of Business Report

Purpose

The Reservation Source of Business Report is for users who only take reservations but don’t process contracts with RentWorks.Use this report to see the volume of reservations generated by each Source of Business and to pay commissions. This report uses just the reservations table. (The Source of Business Report uses the contracts table.)

Options

Posting – Choosing "Update Reservation Records" updates the commission amounts on the reservations and sends the report data to a file that can then be imported into an accounting system. Before posting, a proof run can be performed by not selecting this option.

Page Break for each Source – If this box is checked, each source will be printed on a new page.

Data Selection

Reservations are selected by the following rules:

• The reservation’s date out and/or modified date are before or equal to the report’s cutoff date.
• The reservation’s commission posting is before or equal to the report’s cutoff date (or the posting date is blank.)
• The reservation’s source of business is commissionable.

Posting

Posting is supported in only the QuickBooks accounting interface.
