Purpose
The Additional Deposit Report shows which contracts’ charges will exceed the deposit taken.
Options
- Select – The report can show all contracts or just contracts whose estimated charges exceed its deposits by a certain percentage. The percentage field is enabled when this option is chosen.
- Include contracts with billable companies – If this option is chosen, contracts that have a company with an A/R number will be selected. If this option is not chosen, contracts with companies on them will be ignored.
- Include contracts with A/R payments – If this option is chosen, contracts that have a direct bill-type deposit will be selected.
- Include tour contracts - If this option is chosen, it will include tour contracts.
- Include pending contracts - If this option is chosen, it will include contracts that don’t have vehicles assigned to them.
Data Selection
The contracts are selected by:
- Open or Pending Open status.
- Date out within the report’s starting and ending date range.
- Location out selected in the Reporting lists.
- If a percentage is entered in the "select" option, each contract’s estimated charges is compared to the total deposits. If the deposits are less than the charges by the specified percentage, the contract is selected.
- If the "Include contracts with billable companies" option is chosen, the contract’s company is checked for an A/R number. If it has an A/R number, the contract is selected.
- If the "Include contracts with A/R payments" option is chosen, the contract’s deposits are checked to see if at least one of them is a direct bill type. If so, the contract is selected.
