Purpose
The Outstanding Deposits Report provides a listing of any deposits on open reservations and open contracts. These represent your liability account with respect to deposits.
Options
- As-Of Date – Show outstanding deposits as of this date.
- Select by report date – If this box is checked, deposits are selected by their contract’s reporting date, rather than the contract’s date in.
- Print – Selecting "Detail" will list deposits by payment type along with contract information. Selecting "Summary" will just give a total for all payment types.
- Ignore Reservations With Offsetting (Zero Balance) Deposits – If this box is checked, reservations with two or more deposits that add up to zero will be ignored.
Data Selection
Deposits are selected by the following rules:
- The deposit is on an open reservation (not a no-show), or the deposit is on either an open contract or a closed contract with a return date after the as-of date.
- The reservation or contract is not void.
- The reservation or contract has a pickup date before the as-of date.
- The contract’s (or reservation’s) product is selected in the list box.
- The contract or reservation has a paid deposit with a report date less than or equal to the as-of date.
- The contract or reservation has a paid deposit with a report location that is selected in the reporting list boxes.
- The reservation has multiple paid deposits that add up to zero, and the "Ignore Reservations With Offsetting Deposits" option is selected, then the reservation is ignored.
