Purpose

The Message Log Inquiry is used to view system messages. It can also be used to view messages sent by employees. Criteria include Date Range, Program, Level, and Employee. Click on the binoculars button to access the Employee Lookup, where you can select specific employees by Name, Login, or Employee #; or enter “All” in the Employee field to select all employees. Then click on the “Search” button and all the messages meeting your criteria will be displayed.


Fields

Start/End Date/Time – Find messages with a date/time stamp in this range. Leave the fields blank to match all dates.

Program - Enter the specific program name that created the message. You may need to obtain this from a Bluebird Product Support Analyst (PSA).

Level - Use the pull-down menu to select the warning level:

  • 1 - Diagnostic
  • 2 - Information
  • 3 - Warning
  • 4 - Error
  • 5 - Fatal Error
  • 9 - E-Mail

Employee - Look up the Employee Number of select All.

Filter - Enter a value here to narrow your search, then click on "Apply".


Buttons

Print - Run the Message Log Report.
