Purpose
Rates can be set up so they can only be used when the fleet utilization is at a certain level. This menu item allows you to set the utilization ranges for each rate.
Rates that have the minimum and maximum utilization set to zero are valid for any utilization.
Note: Setting the maximum utilization to 100% on a rate does not mean it can always be used. If the utilization happens to go over 100%, the rate will not be valid.
If activating Custom Feature(CF) R1013, which uses the vehicle's current location instead of owning location for calculations, you may need to set the Reporting Level for the location to Region to obtain proper utilization.
When performing an availability search, if the Rate Shop box is ticked, Rate Utilization will be based on Rates where the Rate Rules has the Shoppable box ticked.
Fields
Location – Rates with this location code will be listed in the browser.
Product – Rates with this product code will be listed in the browser.
Class – Rates with this class code will be listed in the browser.
Minimum/Maximum Utilization – The range of utilization percentages for which the selected rates will be valid.
Buttons
Refresh – Click this button to find the rates that match the location, product, and class selections.
Set Util % – Click this button to assign the minimum and maximum utilizations to the selected rates.
