Purpose

The Incremental Sales Script module gives users the ability to help counter agents to up-sell renters with additional charges.

Incremental sales profiles are attached to various records, such as local companies or sources of business. When the counter agent chooses one of these records, they are shown a pop-up window with a sales script that they can read to the renter.

The profiles specify which additional charges can be sold to the renter, and these charges can be automatically applied to the contract.

Fields

Profile - Enter a name for this profile for which you will define a set of applicable charges for a particular selection.

Location - The location to which this profile applies. If all locations are desired, leave this field blank.

Link Type - Use the drop-down arrow to select Company, Rate Code, Source Code or Privilege Code.

Link Value - The specific record name (XYZ Co., Regular rate, etc.) Use the binocular button to look up a specific record. When the type is set to Privilege Code, the binocular button is disabled. In this instance the Privilege Code values must be manually entered by the user.

Inactive - Check this box if you do not wish the profile to be in use at the present time. If you don't think you will ever use it again, even as a sample profile, delete it.

Profile Script - Enter the script for the rental agent to see once the profile is invoked.

Charges

Kind - Use the drop-down arrow to select Coverages, Misc. Charges, Misc. Fees, Taxes.

Show in Profile - Click this box if you wish this Charge to be shown in the Profile.

CSR Script - Enter the script for the rental agent to see when the charge is displayed.

Charges - All of the existing active charges will appear in this browser, once the kind is selected. Check all those which are Applicable, and all those which should be Auto-Applied.
