Purpose
The Rate Exceptions Report provides details on reservations whose rates were changed upon vehicle check-out. Use this report to see rates that are being changed by rental agents.
Options
- Check-Out Employee – If you wish to report the rate exceptions for a specific employee, choose that employee in this list.
- Contract Status – You can report the rate exceptions for contracts of a specific status by choosing that status from this list.
- Contract Selection – You can report all contracts or just contracts with or without reservations.
Data Selection
Contracts are selected by the following rules:
- The contract’s date out is within the report’s date range.
- The contract’s location out is selected in the reporting lists*.
- The contract’s status matches the selection in the "Contract Status" option
- The contract’s product is selected in the Product list.
- The contract has a reservation and "All" or "Only contracts with reservations" is selected in the Contract Selection field.
- The contract does not have a reservation and "All" or "Only contracts without reservations" is selected in the Contract Selection field.
- The reservation’s rate differs from the contract’s rate.
- The contract’s current rate differs from its original rate.
When a rate is applied to a contract, the original rate amounts are stored in the contract record. The report compares this internal value with the contract’s current rate values to determine if there has been a modification.
