Purpose

If you are using a Reservation Link, this menu item is used to set the parameters that control the link.

Please note that this is an add-on module, and you must enter into a contractual agreement directly with the sending entity before this module can be implemented. There are also additional set-up requirements. Please see the Reservation Link Setup Guide.

Fields

Reservation Link – Choose the appropriate Reservation Link for your franchise.

Check for transmission files – The delay (in minutes) between checks for new transmission files.

Purge log entries – The number of days to leave log entries in the EDI LogDisplay_Log_Messages file.

Retain holding files – The number of days to leave holding files in the Holding File Directory (see below).

Source Code with/without referral – A source code is assigned to each reservation that is created by the Reservation Link. Use these fields to choose which source to assign to the reservations.

New file directory – The directory where new transmission files are placed.

Holding file directory – Once a transmission file has been processed, it is moved to this directory.

Last batch number – Each transmission file has a batch number in it. This field show the batch number from the last transmission file that was processed.

Log diagnostic messages – Extra messages can be logged for diagnostic purposes. Because of the large number of messages that are created, this should only be turned on by a Bluebird Auto Rental Systems support technician.

Maintain source referrals – If this option is checked, new source referrals from the transmission files will be added to the Source ReferralsReferrals table.

Run in separate process – Check this box to run Reservation Link independently of RentWorks.

Stop Reservation Link process – If Reservation Link is run as a separate process, use this box to send it a "stop" command.
