Language Translations

Purpose

Use this menu to setup foreign language translations for contract print programs, invoices, and contract receipts. Text and charge descriptions can be translated. Report Titles can also be translated if need be.

Fields

Language – Select the foreign language from the drop-down list or enter a new value. When translating report titles the language in this case will be "ReportTitles" without spaces or quotes.

Source Text – The English text that currently appears on the form. You must enter this text exactly as it appears on the form. When translating report titles the source text will be the exact title of the report. Refer to Report Inquiry if unsure how the report is labeled.

Target Text – The "new" text to be printed in place of the source text. Note that if the length of the two text strings varies by a lot of characters, the print alignment might be affected. It will take a bit of trial and error to get the printing to look right.
