===== Fields β Mail Tab ===== New Res Notification β If you wish to be alerted every time a new reservation is entered through Erez, you can turn on any or all of the following notification methods: an EDI log entry which is viewable with Display Log Messages, a system alert that appears when changing screens, or a carbon-copy confirmation e-mail that is sent to the address entered in the field below the checkbox. Log Activity β If this box is checked, a log file is created which keeps track of things like the number of "hits" (how many times the first e-rez2 web page has been viewed), the number of rates quotes requested, and the number of reservations entered. This log file is analyzed by the Erez Activity Report. Send Mail Using β Designates whether the confirmation e-mail should be sent using postie.exe or the serverβs built-in SMTP service. If the RentWorks server is running Windows 2003 Server or greater, set this to "SMTP". Otherwise, use "Postie". SMTP Host β The computer name or IP address of the mail server that will be sending the confirmation e-mails. From Line β When the e-mail is sent, the "From" line will have this address. It is recommended that this address be an e-mail account that the user can reply to for assistance. Subject Line β The text that will be in the subject line of the e-mail. The confirmation number is appended to the end of this message. Mail Header β Text that will appear before the reservation information in the e-mail. Mail Footer β Text that will appear after the reservation information in the e-mail.
